Where’s the Action?

In 1965, the Co-op launched its “Where’s the Action?” marketing campaign, highlighting the bank’s longstanding role as a trusted financial partner throughout Berkshire County featuring hand-drawn illustrations. While our services and approach to banking have evolved dramatically in the last sixty years, our commitment and connection to the community have not.

For a little contemporary fun, we used AI to reimagine the original promotional materials using the same headline.  The resulting ads pay tribute to our original efforts but showcase the personalities, passions and talents of Co-op Bank employees that make us a true community institution.

We asked our assistant vice president and branch officer Tyler Dewey five questions to introduce himself to the community.

1) How long have you been at Co-op Bank and in banking? I have been at Pittsfield Co-op for about three months now and in banking for 3 years.

2) What is your favorite activity or hobby? My favorite hobbies are fishing and football.

3) What do you love about the Berkshires? My favorite thing about the Berkshires has got to be the nature; when I am out and about on the search for a fishing spot, some of the views are absolutely amazing.

4) What do you love about banking? The fact that every day in banking is unique. You never really have a cookie cutter work day; everyone you meet has different stories, and even those who you know have different financial needs every day!

5) When I'm not banking you'll find me: Fishing when the weather is nice or relaxing at home with my amazing family.
